The CL16J is an elegant 2-way passive column array speaker system that comprises 4 x 4-inch mid-frequency drivers alongside 12 x 0.75-inch high-frequency drivers with a maximum SPL of 127dB (peak).
The C16J has a horizontal dispersion angle of 100° (-6dB), and a vertical coverage angle of 40° (-6dB). The CL16J uses asymmetrical vertical projection (+15°/-25°) reducing the requirement for tilting the speaker on installation and optimising the coverage angle when installed at a static height. This helps to simplify and speed up the installation process.
Mounting options include 2 x M8 mounting points for the CL16J-FLB bracket. The rear panel offers input connection via Euroblock.
The robust plywood enclosure is finished in a scratch/wear-resistant paint, with a perforated hexagonal mesh steel grille with acoustic foam backing. Available in black or white.
The CL Series passive column array speakers place cutting-edge acoustic technology in a sleek and unobtrusive enclosure. Designed to provide a high degree of pattern control in acoustically challenging environments, the CL series delivers precise and consistent sound throughout some of the most problematic spaces where hard reverberant surfaces and cavernous architecture can impact the clarity of the sound being heard. This makes the CL Series perfect for houses of worship and large auditoriums where speech intelligibility is paramount.
The CL Series speakers are available in multiple configurations of high-quality 4-inch mid-frequency and 3/4-inch high-frequency drivers. The CL16J (4 x 4") and CL32J (8 x 4") both use asymmetrical projection to reduce the requirement for tilting the speaker on installation and optimise the coverage angle when installed at a static height. The CL32 (8 x 4") can be combined with either the CL32J or CL16J when a larger column system is required. CL Series column array speakers are all housed in a robust plywood enclosure and finished with scratch/wear-resistant paint.
